Stephanie Ensinger, MS Counselor Ed, MBA, LPC, NCC
Stephanie endeavors to create a safe and collaborative space for clients to explore their lives and their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health in relation to family, work, school, and community. She believes everyone has the innate ability to change and to deepen their own lived experience.
As your therapist, she will support you in creating a meaningful and lasting change in your relationships, your family, and in yourself. Stephanie’s clinical focus is providing a source of navigational stability as you together explore emotions and insights that drive your lived experience. You can expect an authentic, empathetic, and collaborative partner creating a safe and supportive space for the exploration of meaning in struggles, deepening your self-worth, and cultivating healthy connections with the most important people in your life.
Change can often be difficult and having a trusted guide through the process can provide much needed clarity. One of the primary goals of therapy is to explore and improve how we respond to a changing and sometimes stressful world. Stephanie works from a variety of validating approaches that empower and motivate clients in the therapeutic process. Her therapeutic approach utilizes person centered, cognitive and behavior therapies leveraging acceptance and choice theories. Additionally, Stephanie herself is in long term recovery and brings her lived experience, combined with evidence-based practices, to assist individuals and families experiencing the chaos and often dysfunctional realities of substance use and addictive behaviors. Stephanie has competence working with people experiencing life and career transitions, as she comes to counseling following an extensive career in business and technology. This aspect of her work helps to address stress exhaustion, relationship stresses, trauma, self-harm, and grief.
Stephanie offers evening and video appointments.
