Amy Fisher M.S., Ed.S., L.P.C.
Amy is a compassionate person-centered counselor who works with a variety of ages, backgrounds, cultures, and orientations. Amy develops nurturing relationships in an atmosphere of trust so that maximum mental healing and growth can occur. In this therapeutic alliance, goals are developed together and skills are provided and modeled so that they can be practiced and used in everyday life. She draws from many resources and theories including the modalities of CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), EFT (emotionally focused therapy), the Gottman Method, as well as mindfulness. She helps guide clients toward a life with new skills to manage depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, grief, and emotional regulation. Amy has been a counselor since 2018 and an early elementary teacher for 23 years. She has spent a lifetime learning and has 7 degrees in business, teaching, and clinical counseling.
